Okay, I know it's been a while since I've written anything for this DA Journal, but recent events seem exceptional.

Now, contrary to what most people might think, this isn't going to be a "Oh no! PKMN.NET has gone downhill" journal. If you're just looking for hate, please leave now.

Anyway, I can't help but read some of the journals on this site and think something: Why does everyone care so much? All this talk of "Oppression" and "Unfairness" is just ridiculous.

Some people, such as Jess, were able to leave the site in a reasonable manner. But this new 'fad' of people deleting accounts in 'rotest' and returning to attempt to spam the forums is just, in all honesty, pathetic.

I understand that a lot of you guys are probably 'jealous' because Webbz was promoted. Let me tell you this - it may not seem clear why on first sight, but if you actually delve in you might notice that Webbz really knows the rules well and does display a lot of good qualities. Now, I'm personally not begrudging enough to leave a website because someone I dislike is given a little power, but apparently not everyone else holds the same values.

From my inside-view, I can actually say that far from being oppressive barstools who hunt rule-breakers down and beat them with chair legs, we mods are really just trying to make the site a safe and decent environment to chat in. There's no conspiracy to pick on certain people, or select friends, or anything.

It makes me laugh that certain people are so "enraged" that not only do they delete an account, but they then return wanting to disrupt and spam the website. I can tell you now: That's just not going to work. Far from being reasonable, some just seem to want to cause further unrest. It's so childish.

Oh, and lastly, PKMN.NET really isn't the 'hellhole' that some describe it as today, at least to me. To be honest, the only thing that's changed is the members. Old people leave, new people arrive. That's just how it works, and always has done.

Also note that while it may appear that some people's friends have been unfairly banned, there was a rather large incident of 'bullying' on the forums before all this happened, some bans were issued for that. It's not as unreasonable as it may seem.
